Wigs Bristol have been supplying all types of wigs and hairpieces for fashion and medical purposes for 45 years. Wigs can be purchased off the peg or made to measure in hair or synthetic fibre. We stock many styles and makes. Some are not listed on our website but are available in store so please contact us if you do not see what you require or would like help and information.

Wigs not only come in short, medium or long styles but the inside cap of each wig can be very different, e.g. Full head wefted, Part head wefted with skin partings, Part head wefted with monofilament top, Part head wefted with hand knotted top, or Hand knotted all over. Special attachments are for use with current hair or no hair at all.

Wigs and Hairpieces for Ladies and Gents can also be different sizes. We are able to supply off the peg with knotted or lace fronts. We are able to supply the following:

When patients lose their hair, special care must be taken with the inside of the wig. It may be that parts of the wig need to have soft edges or plastic fixing areas. Wigs can be just wefted. Have part of the wig with skin partings, monofilament at the top or all over. Hand knotted at the crown or all over. If you do not see the wig you require, do enquire, as we may be able to obtain it for you.

If you have the style name and/or number of the wig you require, this will be helpful. We also supply part hairpieces for specific areas to fit either ladies and gents.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE? What is the difference between hair and synthetic wigs? Well they can be similar or worlds apart. Human hair can be natural and attractive but you need to be aware that they do take looking after (just like our own). While Synthetic hair is much easier to clean and put back into your favourite style, with synthetic, care must be taken that you do not put near direct heat.

Private consultations are free of charge and by appointment and take place in our showroom if required. This gives you the opportunity to ask questions regarding the choice of wigs and hairpieces available to both private and NHS customers.
